How much does it cost to add a basement bathroom?
It comes down to one big question: did your builder rough in plumbing under the slab? If so, a basement bathroom is a straightforward part of a finish. If not, we have to cut concrete to run the drains, and that adds real cost. We'll tell you which situation you have at the free walkthrough, before you commit to anything.
Do bathroom remodels need a permit in Utah?
Swapping fixtures in place usually doesn't. Moving plumbing, adding a bathroom, or changing electrical does. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections, and the work gets documented, which matters when you sell the house.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A straightforward full remodel usually runs two to three weeks of work once materials are on site. Tile showers and custom orders add time. We don't start until the materials are in hand. That's how we avoid leaving you with a half-done bathroom for a month.
