Basement Remodeling in Davis & Weber County

Remodeling is a different job than finishing a bare basement. It starts with demo, and there are usually surprises behind the walls. We're licensed and insured, and we handle the whole thing ourselves, from tear-out to the last coat of paint, with one crew and one contract.

Common questions
How is a basement remodel different from basement finishing?
Finishing starts with bare studs or concrete. Remodeling starts with a basement that was already finished, or partly finished, and changes it. There's demo involved, and surprises behind the walls are more common. That's why we walk the space with you before we quote anything.
Can you finish a basement someone else started?
Yes. Half-finished basements are some of our most common jobs in Davis and Weber County. We look at what's there, tell you what can stay and what has to come out to pass inspection, and quote only the work that's actually left.
Do I need a permit to remodel my basement in Utah?
If the remodel moves walls, adds a bedroom or bathroom, or touches electrical or plumbing, yes. Cosmetic updates like paint and flooring generally don't need one. We pull the permits and meet the inspectors, so you don't have to deal with the city.
